Today, Dyco is an important fashion agency on the Belgian and Luxembourg market. We represent more than 20 brands with more than 500 customers. Our professional and motivated team values respect, freedom and tolerance, in doing so creating excellent and sustainable relationships with our customers and our suppliers.
Dyco also invests in collaborations like “shop in the shops” with retailers and high-quality warehouses.
Our showrooms and offices are located near the Atomium in Brussels, 500m away from the highway exit of the Brussels Ring. Our customer service is located there as well.
In the beginning and to this day we choose for timeless quality brands for the upper class. This means we don’t sell brands for teenagers, nor do we supply super expensive brands for the happy few.
Of course it took some time to evolve to the company Dyco is today.
To illustrate: Johan Jacobs started with two brands in his garage in 1988: a Swiss underwear brand and a French trousers brand. Soon after that, in 1989, he founded Dyco together with Chris Vanhaeren and Patrick Steens. Dyco consisted of three departments (women’s wear, men’s wear and lingerie) and it still does to this day.
Thanks to the successful collaboration Dyco had to move up to three times and eventually ended up at a 1000m² space in Strombeek-Bever with private parking for the customers.
With Tijl Jacobs and Matthijs Vanhaeren (the founders’ children) following in their parents’ footsteps, the next generation is ready to ensure a hopefully bright future and a new dynamic. Dyco’s current success would however not have been possible without the cooperation of a fantastic team of employees.
